Instructions For Care Of Blinds

Vertical Blinds:

• Tilt blinds before stacking
• Stack blinds to side before opening windows
• Clean blind slats with a sponge soaked in lukewarm water and mild detergent
• Dry with a clean cloth or dry sponge
• If track does not glide easily spray with silicone spray inside track
• Remove minor marks with an art gum rubber
• Avoid vigorous rubbing
• Never use solvents

Roller, Roman & Sunscreen Blinds:

• Remove surface dust with clean dry cloth or duster regularly
• Wipe clean with a sponge soaked in lukewarm water and mild detergent
• Dry with a clean cloth or dry sponge
• Remove minor marks with an art gum rubber
• Avoid vigorous rubbing
• Never use solvents

Aluminium and Timberstyle Venetian Blinds:

• Rotate blades into open position before raising blind
• Lift blinds by grabbing all cords on lift mechanism together
• Keep all cords at same level to raise blind evenly
• When blind is raised pull cords to outer side of blind to lock in place
• To lower blind grab all cords together and pull slightly to inner side of blind
• Clean regularly by closing slats and dusting with a soft cloth or duster
• Wipe slats with a damp soft cloth dipped in warm water and mild detergent
• Dry with a soft dry cloth

Cedar Venetian Blinds:

• Dust regularly with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner brush attachment
• Do not use water to clean cedar blinds

Panel Glide Blinds:

• Stack blinds to side before opening windows
• Clean blind slats with a sponge soaked in lukewarm water and mild detergent
• Dry with a clean cloth or dry sponge
• Remove minor marks with an art gum rubber
• Avoid vigorous rubbing

• Dust regularly using a vacuum cleaner brush attachment or feather duster
